The ASKI Foundation and Sun Life Foundation, in partnership with the Municipal Health Office in Carranglan, organized a dental oral health orientation for beneficiaries and parents as part of the Brighter Health and Wellness Project, in commemoration of National Oral Health Awareness Month on February. The session, led by Dr. Roshiel L. Clemente, Municipal Dentist, emphasized the crucial role of dental oral care in maintaining overall health and proper hygiene practices among the beneficiaries. Dr. Clemente also demonstrated proper tooth-brushing techniques to ensure optimal dental health without causing additional health issues. Ms. Elena M. Velasco, Executive Director of the ASKI Foundation, expressed gratitude for the support of the Municipal Health Office in promoting the well-being of the beneficiaries. Also present at the orientation was Mr. Gener Mendoza, the barangay councilor in Education, who demonstrated support for the program and appreciated the inclusion of their barangay in the project. The participation of parents was noted as significant in reinforcing proper hygiene practices at home, contributing to the success of the program in enhancing the beneficiaries' dental hygiene. In addition to the orientation, beneficiaries received dental oral kits for home use and another set for use at school.
