On February 11, 2023, a heartwarming outreach program was held for the Tahanan ng Damayang Kristiyano (TDK) in San Jose City. The event was a collaboration between the Rotary Club of Talavera, ASKI Skills and Knowledge Institute, and ASKI Foundation. The program was a Valentine's outreach initiative aimed at bringing love and support to the elders and children of TDK. The beneficiaries of the program were 20 elders and 7 children under the care of TDK. The event was attended by several important figures, including Mr. Rafael Sable, the President of the Rotary Club of Talavera, Ms. Mary Grace Pena, the Managing Director of ASKI Foundation, and Mr. Greg Macapagal, Operations Manager of ASKI MBA, who represented his wife and the Executive Director of ASKI SKI, Ms. MJ Macapagal. Rev. Fr. Ricardo Pangilinan Jr., the Administrator of TDK and Executive Director of the Social Action Commission, welcomed the groups with open arms. The event was made even more special as it coincided with the World Day of the Sick and the Feast of the Lady of Lourdes. Rev. Fr. Ricardo expressed his amazement at the Lord's message of "miracle" on that day. Adding to the excitement, the Zumba Sisters, a well-known group of zumba dancers, performed for the elders and children, providing a source of joy and entertainment for everyone present. The program ended on a happy and hopeful note, as the groups made an appeal for support for the elders and children of TDK. If you would like to extend your support to the TDK elders and children, you can do so through the ASKI Foundation. The foundation will be more than happy to assist you in reaching out to the people in need.
